Andrea Duranti Martinez, LMSW is a Licensed Social Worker who works as a Depression Care Manager. She treats patients at our South Bronx and Washington Heights Centers. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Andrea holds an undergraduate social work degree from Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca and worked as a professional social worker in Colombia before immigrating to the United States in 2015. She completed her master’s in social work at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2022.

Andrea is a native Spanish speaker and is especially interested in working with immigrants and LGBTQ+ communities. Andrea recognizes that each person is the expert of their own life and can find resilience alongside the challenges they have experienced. She believes in an intersectional therapeutic approach and engaging different therapeutic tools depending on each person’s reality and needs.
