She completed her dietetic internship at New York Enrichment Group, Children’s Aid Society, Montefiore Bronx Health Collective, and The Riverside Rehab via Hunter College.

Miriam completed her master’s thesis by writing a grant proposal that outlined a peer counselor-led program to improve nutrition & disease outcomes in people living with HIV/AIDS.
