Chir Wei Stephanie Yuen, MD

Chir Wei Stephanie Yuen, MD is a board-certified pediatrician and adult internal medicine doctor who specialized in HIV primary care and infectious diseases. She treats patients at our South Bronx Health Center. Dr Yuen completed an undergraduate degree in Biology and History at Rutgers University in 2015 and completed a Medical Degree at New Jersey Medical School in 2019. She completed her Med-Peds residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in 2023 and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in 2025. Dr Yuen is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Dr. Taylor-Smalls completed an undergraduate degree in Nursing at Columbia University in 2004 and her Master’s Degree in Midwifery at Columbia University in 2006. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at SUNY Stony Brook in 2022.

Dr. Taylor-Smalls is a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and has done research on relationship-based care.

She also treats patients at several of the CHN health centers. Ann completed an undergraduate degree (BS) in Nursing at Columbia University in 2005 and completed her Nurse Practitioner Degree in Psychiatry (MSN) at CUNY-Hunter College in 2011. She is primarily fluent in English.

Ann has 20+ years of experience in the field of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, including therapy and medicine prescribing/medication management. Ann has a wealth of experience therapeutically utilizing a person-centered approach including elements of psychodynamic, CBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

She has treated clients to achieve overall well-being in regard to mental healthcare specifically with regard to depressive, anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders.
