Optometrist

Dr. Ricketts is a board-certified Optometrist at Community Healthcare Network. She treats patients at our Washington Heights, Crown Heights, South Bronx, DBS, Williamsburg, and Long Island City Health Centers in the Optometry Mobile Unit.

Dr. Charis-Ann Ricketts graduated from the University of the West Indies with a BSc in Optometry. She then earned her Doctoral Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston where she completed clinical rotations through private practice, community health centers, and Ophthalmology practices. She completed a residency program in Primary Care specializing in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Ricketts believes in a comprehensive and integrated approach to healthcare. Her sound clinical background and desire to provide high-quality care are evident in each patient encounter. She is proud to be part of an establishment dedicated to patient care, education, and creating optometric service platforms for sustainable vision care.

Forrest Armstrong is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He treats patients at our Lower East Side and Brooklyn Health Centers. Forrest Armstrong completed his graduate degree in Psychology at the City College of New York and his Master of Social work at CUNY Hunter College.
