Jay Pulitano takes an open-minded, inquisitive, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach in his work as a behavioral health therapist. He approaches his work through an anti-oppressive lens, taking into consideration the impact of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, able-ism, and other oppressive systems on one’s behavioral health. Jay Pulitano uses a variety of techniques in
his clinical work, including bringing awareness to the impact of a patient’s personal history, teaching relaxation/mindfulness skills, and collaborating with a patient to identify and reshape the thought patterns that have a negative influence on emotions and behavior. Having 5+ years of experience serving the LGBTQ community in community health settings, Jay Pulitano is especially passionate about working with queer and trans individuals.

In her spare time, she likes to cook, and travel and enjoys attending food tours and experimenting with different cuisines.

Josie is fluent in English. She completed her undergraduate degree at Colby College and earned a Masters in Nutrition from Boston University.
