Jacqueline A. Berenson, MD

Jacqueline A. Berenson, MD, who works as the Director of Psychiatry (she/her) treats patients at our Washington Heights and Harlem sites.  Dr. Berenson completed an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1999 then did graduate research in Immunopathology before completing her MD in 2004, all at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Dr. Berenson then trained in General Adult Psychiatry at the teaching hospitals of Harvard University in Boston, MA; she then did a research Fellowship at New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University in Medicine, Ethics and the Law (2011) and then a second fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the combined Columbia/Cornell training program (2012). She has been in practice in New York State since she finished training.
