Jessica Marchini, DNP, FNP began her nursing career in Washington, D.C. in the emergency department and later moved to North Carolina to become a Family Nurse Practitioner while working as a nurse in pediatric psychiatry. During her graduate education, Jessica collaborated with the North Carolina local health department STD clinics to implement depression screenings to promote the incorporation of mental health into primary care.

Ellen Hollander-Sande, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Ellen Hollander-Sande is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She treats patients at our Lower East Side and Seward Park Health Centers in Manhattan. She is fluent in English.
Ellen completed her Master’s degree in Family Practice Primary NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, and is expected to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in August, 2022.
As a family practice provider, Ellen works with patients and families to improve their health and well-being by finding treatment plans that are manageable and consistent with their priorities, lifestyle, and family culture. In addition to being a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Ellen is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and greatly enjoys supporting breastfeeding families. Ellen was named Distinguished Master’s Student of the FNP program at NYU, where she is now completing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Past projects have included interventions to increase HPV vaccination rates, the impact of gender-affirming care on mental health of transgender adolescents, and “Identifying Best-Practice for Increasing Breastfeeding Initiation Rates Among Adolescent Mothers,” which was published as a featured paper by Attachment Parenting International. Currently, Ellen teaches pediatrics in the FNP program at NYU, where she is also implementing an educational module on pediatric telehealth.

Evelyn is a passionate health advocate for adolescent girls and young women. Jenny Tan, ANP is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She treats anyone over 18 years old at many of CHN’s Health Centers.
Jenny completed a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Bachelors of Art in Psychology at University of California, Los Angeles. Jenny completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing at John Hopkins University. Jenny completed her Masters of Public Health at John Hopkins University.
Jenny provided primary medical care to the population in El Naranjito, Dominican Republic, on a volunteer medical mission trip treating episodic problems and managing chronic diseases in January 2014. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jenny worked as a Registered Nurse in Trauma Emergency Department and Surgery units.
