Caribbean House Health Center is hosting a Mother’s Day Health Fair on Tuesday, May 8th, at its 1167 Nostrand Ave. location in Brooklyn. The event will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cosponsored by Health Plus and Amerigroup, it will include blood pressure and blood sugar (diabetes) screenings as well as prizes.

The Helen B. Atkinson Health Center is hosting Mammogram for Mothers with support from the American Italian Cancer Foundation. The testing will be held on Saturday, May 12th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can also learn about managed care insurance and the Community Assistance Program’s prescription options.
