Community Healthcare Network (CHN) is a not-for-profit organization that provides access to affordable, culturally-competent and comprehensive community-based primary health care, mental health and social services for diverse populations in underserved communities throughout New York City.
Community Healthcare Network is looking for a Women’s Health Educator to work in our Central Harlem Health Center.
The Health Educator is responsible for educating and counseling both family planning and prenatal health patients in the health center, as well as organizing and facilitating workshops in schools and community-based organizations in Upper Manhattan.
The educator is also responsible for organizing health events, and representing CHN at community-wide events.

Location: Queens
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in health education, nursing, or health-related field, or equivalent degree. Experience working in a reproductive health setting. Experience working with diverse communities. Demonstrated ability to organize, develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
